The institute of Art History

The institute of Art History is a scientific institution established in 1961 with the aim to improve and systemise scientific work in the area of national art and heritage.

The visual identity of IPU Open Days is inspired by the logic and visual language of the New Tendencies, which according to some are the last avant-garde movement with the desire to synthesise artistic movements of that time on almost scientific basis.

Abstract geometry was used as the basic language of communication, with different application possibilities to different types of materials.
